Education: A Bachelor of Education, Master's Degree in Administration

Work Experience:  7th year as Construction Trades teacher. 17 years teaching special education, science, and math in Massillon. Over 21 years in general construction home renovation and remodeling. 

Hobbies: Reading my Bible, watching television with my wife, building ninja warrior obstacles for my children, making live edge furniture, and flipping houses.

Construction Trades as a Program & Profession

The Construction Trades program presents the ability to envision a project and bring it to life from start to finish with your own two hands. Having the knowledge and skill set to work in residential and commercial construction is what this program will prepare you for in the field. The class framework is built around today’s fast growing industry and will give our students an accelerated start after graduation in the employment field or in pursuit of a degree or apprenticeship in the Construction pathway.

Credentialing Opportunity: OSHA 10 Construction Certification, Carpenter's International Training (CITF) Career Connections level 1-2-3 Certification 

College Credit Opportunities:

  1. CTAG State Articulation at any Ohio State Higher Ed Institution: Construction Methods and Materials - 3 Credits

  2. Articulated Credit: Kent State - 3 Credits, Stark State College - 2 Credits
