Our Cosmetology seniors had an exciting day exploring career opportunities right here in Massillon!
They toured three local salons: Kathy Boyd’s Salon, Head to Toe Salon & Spa, and Inspired Design Nail Bar & Salon! After the visits, they wrapped up the day with refreshments from Golden Tiger Tea. 🇺🇸Remembering and Honoring 9/11🇺🇸
For the sixth year, WHS teacher, Sam Studer has brought together students, staff, service members and local first responders for a heartfelt 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb. Local heroes and staff shared their personal memories of that day, followed by a performance of the National Anthem by the Massillon Tiger Swing Band.
Participants then formed teams of three and climbed 110 flights of stairs throughout Paul Brown Tiger Stadium, carrying weights and rescuing six "civilians" represented by American flags. This meaningful event is a powerful tribute to the courage and sacrifice of that day.
