Our senior Cosmetology students spent the afternoon with WHS alumnus, Dominique Gordon, who is a renowned makeup artist and entrepreneur from Houston, Texas yesterday!💄
Dominique educated the students on makeup application techniques, brush uses, color theory and more! It was an in-depth class with certification. What an awesome experience for our students!

Students and staff from Washington High School along with local first responders participated in a 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb today. Local first responders and staff shared their memories of 9/11 followed by the playing for our National Anthem by the Massillon Tiger Swing Band.
Students were then grouped in teams of three and challenged to climb 110 flights of stairs weaving through Paul Brown Tiger Stadium. Teams carried various weights throughout the climb while rescuing six "civilians" represented by American Flags.
This is the fifth year WHS math teacher, Sam Studer, has led this event.
Members of our WHS girls soccer team are volunteering with Massillon Youth Sports Association (MYSA) this fall!⚽️
In addition to playing in their own varsity soccer season, these student-athletes are coaching and refereeing youth soccer games! What an awesome chance for young Tigers to learn from our high school Tigers!
