Fifteen of our 8th grade girls from MJHS traveled to NeoMed in Rootstown for the annual STEM Goes Red for Women 2023! ❤️
They were able to attend sessions related to hands-on STEM activities and were even able to hold a human heart in their hands! Another session allowed them to interact with professionals from First Energy where they examined the state of the art and up and coming Personal Protective Equipment in the energy fields. They also learned about basic tools that are used in the different gas and oil fields.
What an experience for our girls to see and meet with so many successful females in the STEM career path.
Thank you Massillon CTE for supporting this opportunity!
