➡️What is the most rewarding part of being a coach?
Being a part of their lives and helping them reach their full potential on and off the course. When they reach a goal they have set for themselves is very rewarding. The “aha” moments when you see your player get what you have been teaching them is very rewarding.
➡️What is your most memorable moment from this season?
We played a lot of good golf this season with a lot of great memories! At Mill Creek we put up a 309. The emotions on their faces when they truly realized that their hard work was paying off is a moment I will never forget.

Washington High School science staff along with CTE Teaching Professions students are visiting elementary schools over the next couple of weeks to conduct experiments with our elementary students!

Our senior Cosmetology students spent the afternoon with WHS alumnus, Dominique Gordon, who is a renowned makeup artist and entrepreneur from Houston, Texas yesterday!💄
Dominique educated the students on makeup application techniques, brush uses, color theory and more! It was an in-depth class with certification. What an awesome experience for our students!

Students and staff from Washington High School along with local first responders participated in a 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb today. Local first responders and staff shared their memories of 9/11 followed by the playing for our National Anthem by the Massillon Tiger Swing Band.
Students were then grouped in teams of three and challenged to climb 110 flights of stairs weaving through Paul Brown Tiger Stadium. Teams carried various weights throughout the climb while rescuing six "civilians" represented by American Flags.
This is the fifth year WHS math teacher, Sam Studer, has led this event.
