🌟We Are Hiring!🌟
We are looking to hire sub secretaries and bus drivers along with other positions around our district!
📍 Apply Here: https://www.massillonschools.org/page/employment-opportunities

As is the case with many school districts around our area, the Massillon City School District is facing a bus driver shortage. With that said, if anyone is interested in becoming a bus driver, please contact Dan McGrath at 330-830-3910 for more information. Training will be provided.
Parents - You will be receiving an email tomorrow, Wednesday, August 7, 2024, which will include your child's 2024-2025 busing information. The email will come from the Massillon Transportation Department. You will also receive a separate email which will include information about our new bus app, StopFinder. StopFinder will replace the MyStop app.
As we start the school year, please know that we are doing our best to combine routes while still ensuring efficiency. Some routes will be running behind. If there is an extended lapse between student dismissal and bus drop off, factors may include extended bus routes with more stops due to limited drivers. Please download the StopFinder app to receive the most up to date information on your child's bus route. Thank you for your patience!

We're excited to announce some updates to our administrative team for the upcoming school year!🐯

Exploring the Animal Kingdom!🐯🐵🐠🐧
Students from Mrs. Sirgo’s kindergarten class and Mrs. Sorensen’s 3rd grade class joined forces to create an animal book! After exploring the zoo virtually, each student duo selected an animal, wrote about the animal and created beautiful illustrations! They celebrated yesterday with a book unveiling and donuts!

Congratulations to the Class of 2024!🐯🧡🖤

Mrs. Sorensen’s 3rd grade students presented their biography projects in a very unique way today! Each student created a poster board, complete with a cut-out for their face, transforming themselves into the historical figures they researched! They gave their presentations in character, sharing stories and achievements as if they were the person themselves!📚

Minimizing kinetic energy and maximizing air resistance!💨⬆️ ⬇️
Our WHS freshman Physical Sciences classes completed the egg drop challenge yesterday! Students were challenged to build a structure to protect the egg from breaking when dropped from a certain height!

Making a Difference Together! 🌟
Our WHS Exercise Science students from the Classes of 2023 and 2024 have come together to make an impact! They successfully raised funds to create a sensory room for our MD classroom at Washington High School.🧡
A sensory room features calming lights, soothing sounds and interactive elements to help relax, focus and engage senses.
